Welcome to Nicholsons Hedging

We know all there is to know about hedging - we grow it, we plant it, we supply it, we protect it, we maintain it, advise on it . . . and love it! Please see the list below of all the Hedging and Screening Plants we grow – all are “BRITISH GROWN” and “CONTAINER GROWN"

The main season for planting is during the period of a plant’s dormancy – October through to March/April. Planting is best done during this time, when the ground conditions are ideal for planting and the roots will not be affected by moving them. Container grown plants can be planted out-of-season, and this can be done quite successfully, but more care is needed and it is likely that you will need to consider watering or an irrigation system. We are happy to advise on your individual circumstances.

Below is a list of all the stock that we grow, and lists whether it is available at the moment. We also supply bare root plants in the winter as well as stocking a full range of plants and sundries in our Plant Centre. Please click here to transfer to our main site to see the full range of what we stock and the other services we offer.

Prices are all inclusive of VAT. We do offer a delivery service - please contact us for details and costs.
